Masonry

Traditional skills in cutting and carving of stone are core to our client offering: a sound aesthetic and understanding of historic perspective is essential.

Almost all of the National Trust houses - and many of the Royal Palaces - have called upon our services, either as advisers or as contractors.

Our exemplary conservation work guides contractors and a good example is the restoration on the temples of Venus, Ancient Virtue and Concorde at Stowe.

For the National Trust we have a central role in the research into weathering of traditional mortars, and have run their mortar educational courses at Lacock Abbey for over 15 years.
